Anne de Louvigny Stone – President, ESSEC

Anne de Louvigny Stone graduated from ESSEC and Sciences-Po.
She is Senior Vice President and international Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management, servicing clients of French origin residing in the US, France, Belgium, UK and Switzerland.
Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in 2000, Anne held several executive positions at American Express (New York) including Vice President of Global Marketing and Strategic Planning for the Foreign Exchange Services Division. Prior to American Express, she served three years at Eco-Emballages, in Paris, as Head of Strategic Planning, and five years as a consultant at Bain & Co. in London and Paris.
Anne is a board member of ESSEC USA and a Director and Vice President of the French American Chamber of Commerce, New York Chapter.

Emmanuelle Bommier – Treasurer, ENPC

Emmanuelle Bommier is the representative of ENPC on the board of the AAGEF and the treasurer of the association

François Janson – Secretary, Sciences Po

François is a corporate and securities lawyer. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions and securities offerings, with an emphasis on cross-border transactions.
He has represented Canadian and European clients in connection with capital raising and investment activities in the United States.
François is a member of the bars of New York, Paris and Quebec.

Pierre-Antoine Bollet – EDHEC

Pierre-Antoine works for Rémy Cointreau as a Brand Ambassador for Louis XIII Cognac.
He moved to New York in 2007, right after graduating from EDHEC. He specializes in wine, spirits and luxury brands.
He created a series of social networking events for the French community in NY called L’Afterworks.

Daniel Totouom – École Polytechnique

As a member of BNP Paribas’ New York-based Interest Rates Strategy team, Daniel develops quantitative methods and related trading strategies. Prior to his current role, he spent five years as part of BNP’s US Quantitative Fixed Income Research team (FIRST), with a focus on credit modelling. Prior to that, he worked for three years as a senior quantitative structurer in the Asset Securitisation Group of BNP Paribas London, and for two years in the Global Risk Management group of BNP Paribas Paris, developing economic capital models. Before joining the bank in 2003, Daniel was a quantitative analyst in Equity Derivatives at Goldman Sachs.
Daniel graduated from both École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris (X-Mines) and holds a PhD in Finance & Economics from École des Mines de Paris.
In addition to his role at BNP, he is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Financial Engineering at the New York University School of Engineering, serves on the Board of Directors of the Association des Amis des Grandes Écoles de France, Inc. (AAGEF), where he represents the Alumni of École Polytechnique, and is a member of the Fixed Income Analysts Society (FIASI).
Daniel has co-authored several papers, including “A Principles-Based Approach to Regulatory Capital for Securitisations (2013)”. He has developed a Merton-based model for risk (arbitrage free approach) and has made presentations to the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the International Monetary Fund, Federal Reserve Board, the World Bank, and the European Central Bank.

Pierre-Albert Bouard – Centrale Paris

Pierre-Albert works as a director of product management and finance at AXA US.
After graduating from Centrale Paris he moved to Singapore to starts his career at AXA, then to Paris for a few years. In addition to his M.S. from Centrale Paris, Pierre-Albert is a Qualified Actuary, member of the French Institut des Actuaires.

Michael Jacobs – INSEAD

Michael Jacobs works in Global Securities within the Equities Division at Goldman Sachs.
He joined Goldman in November 2010 after working at Soros Fund Management as a Technology analyst. Michael obtained an MBA degree from INSEAD in July 2010 and a B.A. degree in Philosophy from Reed College, during which he focused on Ancient Philosophy and studied at University of Oxford, Wadham College.
Prior to business school, he began his career in the non-profit sector and has worked at George Soros’s Open Society Institute and served in Kyrgyzstan as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps.

François Duvergne – Supaéro

François is Chief Operating Officer of 901D, a US company specialized in the design and manufacturing of electronics enclosures for Defense and Homeland Security applications.
He holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a MS in Computer Science from ENSAE (Supaéro).

Virginie Costa – Audencia

Virginie Costa graduated from Audencia Management School in 1996 in Nantes.
She joined the Wella Company as Global Chief Financial Officer in 2021; one of only 7 women leading global finance functions among the top 25 worldwide beauty companies.
Most recently, she served as Global CFO of Godiva from 2018 and is a member of the Board of Directors for Advantage Solutions, a publicly-traded global communications and media company (ticker: ADV), where she chairs the Audit Committee. Prior to that, she was the Chief Financial Officer and COO for the Americas, a member of the Group Executive Strategic Committee with Burberry. Prior to joining Burberry in 2011 and since 2005, Virginie was the Senior Vice President in charge of Finance and Operations & CFO with Hermès for the USA, transferred to New York after having spent four years as International Financial Controller in Paris with Hermès International.
Prior to Hermès, she worked at Canal+ Group (a Vivendi Universal company) in Paris leading the group US GAAP consolidation and accounting projects. She started her career in external audit for 5 years with KPMG and Arthur Andersen in France.

Manuel Barbero – Telecom ParisTech

Manuel has spent all his 25+ year career in North America building and managing technology intensive businesses at France Telecom, KPMG Peat Marwick, UBS and most recently as head of Architecture, Engineering and Integration at Bridgewater Associates, the world largest hedge fund.
As a CTO Operative and investor, he advises a range of startups from e-QUANT, which focus on Environmental, Social and corporate Governance analysis to MIXER a the private Social Network site for leaders in the art, music, fashion, and film industries.

Jean-Baptiste Commans – Arts & Métiers

Jean-Baptiste graduated Arts et Métiers Paris Tech in 2006.
He is the head of Strategy and Finance Decision Sciences for Chase Business Banking.
He transferred from London to NYC in 2016 as a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
He currently lives in Long Island City, Queens with his wife and daughter

Frédéric Smadja – ENSAE

Frédéric graduated from ENSAE in 2000. He spent most of his career trading equity options and volatility based strategies for banks and hedge funds, and also ran some consulting activities in the derivatives and fintech space.
He started his career in Hong-Kong then worked in London, Paris and New York where he lives since 2008. He is married and lives in Brooklyn Heights.

Fabrice Cancre – Normale Sup

Dr Fabrice Cancre graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure in 1987 and holds a PhD in Physics. After graduation, he created two startups in France and sold one of them to R/D Tech, another startup in Quebec, Canada where he moved with his family in 1994. In 1997, he relocated to Boston, MA to expand the operations of the company in the USA. In 2005, R/D Tech was acquired by Olympus and integrated in its Scientific Solutions division. Fabrice continued at Olympus for 14 years in various leadership positions eventually being Deputy Global Business Unit Leader of the division. Fabrice retired in 2019 and currently lives in New Hamsphire and Boston. He is an avid skier and cyclist.

Marc Bollens – Centrale Lyon

Marc represents Ecole Centrale Lyon at the board of the AAGEF which he graduated from in 2015 with a double degree at Duke University in Engineering Management. He is an Indirect Sourcing Sr Manager at L’Oréal USA where he leads supplier value creation and cost reduction programs for both the Active Cosmetics and Consumer Products divisions. In addition to representing his Grande Ecole at the AAGEF board, Marc is in charge of the organization of our community’s events.

François Carrel-Billiard – ENA

François Carrel-Billiard is the Associate Director of the European Institute at Columbia University. He previously worked as a French diplomat, and was posted in Paris, Moscow, Brussels, and at the United Nations in New York.
François graduated from Sciences Po and from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration.

Tenaya Santos da Silva – EM Lyon

After graduating from EM LYON – business school – where she specialized in Marketing, Tenaya worked at L’Oreal and Moët Hennessy in Paris.
Her interest for international business, specifically in the domain of wine, gastronomy, and French savoir-faire, made her move to New York six years ago. There she worked for Ligne Roset and developed a passion for design.
She then joined Revol Porcelaine in both sales and marketing, as the VP of sales for 5 years.
In 2017, Tenaya started her own consulting company, Gourmet and the City – she now works closely with European brands in the home, hospitality and high-end gourmet industries. She also joined Epicurean Nights – an event company that creates customized immersive dinners in NYC.

Patrick Simonnet – Science-Po Paris

Patrick Simonnet is a New York-based Managing Director and the Chief Audit Executive (CAE) of Bank of China for the USA. He is married to Mrs. Manar Zaher-Simonnet, with two adult children, and lives in downtown Manhattan. Patrick graduated from Sciences Po. (ECOFI), the Grande Ecole that he represents on the Board of AAGEF. Patrick also holds a master of Economic Sciences from Paris-I Pantheon Sorbonne and a PhD-equivalent from the Banking Monetary Institute of the Banque de France.

Francois-Olivier Luiggi – ESSEC

With over 25 years in the luxury hospitality industry, François-Olivier Luiggi has extensive experience launching high-end hotels internationally and managing upscale brands.

As General Manager at The Pierre, he is responsible for all hotel operations from staffing and guest programming to financial performance and oversees the Taj brand’s flagship international property. Prior to joining The Pierre in 2015, Mr. Luiggi spent more than five years as General Manager at Langham Place, Fifth Avenue and served as Hotel Manager of The Mark in New York.

Prior to that, he spent ten years with the Four Seasons, opening a total of 19 of the brand’s hotels and resorts, including properties in the Middle East, Europe and Southeast Asia and serving as their Corporate Food & Beverage Training Specialist for the entire brand. Francois holds a joint MBA from the Hotel Management program at ESSEC and at Cornell University.
